I have always been an active person. I played sports in high school, joined gyms and took group exercise classes (even taught some for a couple of years), ran a few half-marathons, etc. I was always looking for something different- I get bored easily. A running partner introduced me to CrossFit. One class, and I was hooked. To be honest, I thought I would do CrossFit for a while, then move onto some other fitness regime. That had been my pattern. Fast forward four and a half years and I am still excited about CrossFit! I love the fact that no two workouts are the same (Remember- I get bored easily!). The variety of workouts keeps me interested, and the effects on my body keep me motivated. I finally know what it feels like to truly be fit and strong.
As a mother of two teenaged daughters, I feel I am a positive role model of health and determination. My girls see me push myself and accomplish tasks that at times seem nearly impossible. These accomplishments continue to help me become more confident and driven. I am passionate about supporting and encouraging others along their fitness journeys.
Tribute Strength is a community of people who consistently support and inspire one another. I feel so proud and fortunate to be a part of such a close, caring group of individuals!
